The homes are described as wine country homes with many options and upgrades available. LeDuc & Dexter installed Kohler products for the homes, which range in size from approximately 1,500 square feet to 2,500 square feet. The larger homes have four bedrooms and three bathrooms.
|
LeDuc & Dexter Inc. have plumbed over 90% of the project, which began construction nearly five years ago. LeDuc & Dexter will have completed all of the water, sewer and gas lines, kitchen and bathroom sinks, tubs, showers, toilets and hot water heater installations for the entire project. |

The Town of Windsor has installed an irrigation system that uses treated non-potable water for irrigation of lawns and gardens for homes in Vintage Greens. The entire irrigation system is set up with outdoor sprinkler systems for each home and the pipes are purple to designate them as non-potable.

Vintage Greens also has a four-acre park for its community, complete with picnic tables and barbecues, a bocce ball court, a basketball court and play area with play structures for children. In addition to that there is a soccer park with five playing fields. All of these areas are irrigated with the non-potable water from the Windsor Water Treatment Department. The Town of Windsor supplies the water free of charge. Homeowners’ participation in the program is optional. |

Upstairs LeDuc & Dexter installed two restrooms and a drinking fountain for Anytime Fitness, which is now open for business. Downstairs LeDuc & Dexter installed the rough-in plumbing at Rosie’s Nails for sinks and the wastewater system. Koch Construction Company is the general contractor for the project. Koch Construction has actually built the entire shopping center starting about ten years ago including all the additions that have made the center home to over 30 tenants. LeDuc & Dexter has also worked at the Windsor Palms Shopping Center over that ten year period of expansion. |
“Koch Construction is a great builder’, says Rich Hoaglund, Commercial Project Manager for LeDuc & Dexter. “We’ve been working with them for twenty years. They have a good staff and good project managers; they’re easy to work with. They’ve created a niche of high-end, medium sized commercial and residential projects plus boutique wineries.” |

Alan Tatomer, the producer of the TV shows and the project manager on site in Petaluma, was impressed with Leduc & Dexter’s Mike Musante’s skills. “Mike was really good. He’s a very knowledgeable plumber, he was fast and he was good in front of the camera.”
“We thought it was a good idea to get involved in the project to promote our company”, says Art Dexter, LeDuc & Dexter’s Vice President & COO, “and some of our suppliers donated materials for the job.” |

Rapid Remodel TV aired their first 14 episodes last year featuring remodeled homes in the East Bay. They are negotiating with TV 50 in Santa Rosa to air the next installment that will feature remodeled homes in the North Bay when all the projects are completed and filmed.
Homeowners pay for the jobs performed by Rapid Remodel TV and receive some discounts along the way. The show is also an opportunity for builders and craftsman to showcase their talents. Aside from LeDuc & Dexter there are over 30 other companies working on the Petaluma project.
