Plumber of the Year Award

LeDuc & Dexter Inc. has received the 2009 Green Plumber of the Year Award from Green Plumbers U.S.A.  Tom LeDuc, President & CEO of LeDuc & Dexter accepted the national award from Green Plumbers U.S.A. CEO Steve Lehtonen at the Water Smart Innovations ’09 Conference & Exposition, which was held in Las Vegas October 7-9.

LeDuc & Dexter has become a formidable green plumbing contractor through their continuing pursuit of educational advancement for their staff and employees in an effort to educate their clients and customers on energy saving green plumbing practices and systems.  They are currently working with Pinnacle Homes on green retrofitting projects for existing homes in Sonoma County.

Rich Hoaglund, LeDuc & Dexter commercial Project Manager, attended Water Smart ‘09 with Tom LeDuc and completed all 5 green plumbing certification courses through Green Plumbers U.S.A.  LeDuc, who completed all of the certification courses at last year’s Water Smart Innovations, attended numerous seminars including residential hot water distribution, high efficiency appliances, fixtures and plumbing, restroom solutions for sustainable design, landscaping irrigation improvements, drought management, urban dam management and partnering with green industry.

LeDuc also attended the Water Smart ’09 trade show and found the entire experience to be very educational.  "The event was also a wonderful networking opportunity”, said LeDuc, "I met people from all over the country and some of my colleagues from Sonoma County including PHCC of the Redwood Empire and  city officials from Santa Rosa."
